STVARAJ: Applications Open for SEE UP and Project 011’s Two-Day Startup Hackathon

AI has accelerated software development. Now it's our turn to build.

SEE UP and Project 011 are organizing STVARAJ, the first SEE UP Build Session – a two-day startup hackathon designed for young people under the age of 30 from across Serbia. The event will take place on November 28–29 at CDT Hub in Belgrade. Applications are open until November 19 at 11:59 PM (CET).

Artificial intelligence has made software products faster, easier, and significantly cheaper to develop. Today, it is possible to build the first functional version of a product in just one weekend. Yet, the most important challenges remain the same: identifying a problem people genuinely face, developing a solution they actually need, and finding the first customers.

That is exactly what STVARAJ is all about. Over two intensive days, participants will work with mentors and AI tools to go from identifying a problem and conducting market research to building their first functional product (MVP), defining a business model, and preparing a pitch for the jury.

The program follows the methodology presented in Stvaraj, a book by Milovan Dekić, who will also join the participants as a guest speaker.

Who can participate?

STVARAJ is open to young people under 30 from across Serbia – students, professionals, freelancers, and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to turn their ideas into tangible products.

No prior programming experience is required, and participants do not need to have a fully developed business idea before applying. The hackathon is open to ideas across all industries, and applications can be submitted individually or in teams of up to three members.

Participation is free of charge, with only 45 spots available.

From Problem to First Customers in Two Days

Saturday, November 28 – From Problem to First Product Version

Participants will focus on identifying problems, conducting market research, defining solutions, and developing the first version of their products. The day will include an opening session led by Milovan Dekić, followed by hands-on work and continuous mentorship.

Sunday, November 29 – From First Product Version to First Customers

The second day will focus on completing the MVP, testing solutions, developing business models, and preparing pitch presentations. The hackathon will conclude with teams presenting their projects to the jury, followed by the announcement of the winners.

Prizes and Support for Further Development

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top-performing teams:

  • First place: RSD 100,000

  • Second place: RSD 40,000

But the support doesn't end with the announcement of the winners. The top three teams will have the opportunity to continue developing their projects with SEE UP's support through mentorship, assistance with startup incorporation, and introductions to potential first customers.

Additionally, teams may have the opportunity to receive up to $150,000 in Azure credits to support further product development.

Every participant will also receive a copy of Stvaraj by Milovan Dekić, published by Finesa.
