SEE UP Demo Day: Duo Cohort 2 & Global VC Speed-Dating!

On February 24th, 2026, SEE UP Accelerator hosted its Demo Day for the SEE UP Duo Cohort 2 at the FEFA Faculty in Belgrade — bringing together startups, investors, corporates, and key innovation ecosystem players from across Serbia and internationally.

More than just a pitch event, Demo Day once again confirmed SEE UP’s role as one of the fastest-growing accelerators in Southeast Europe — not only supporting startups, but actively creating pathways to capital, partnerships, and global expansion.

Showcasing High-Potential Startups

At the core of the event were four carefully selected startups from the SEE UP cohort, each representing strong market validation and international scalability:

eFrontiers (Switzerland) – a financial education platform building digital solutions to improve financial literacy for individuals and institutions

PETNUTRA (USA) – a science-backed pet longevity company developing next-generation supplements

protokol (Serbia) – a fintech infrastructure solution modernizing and optimizing financial processes

Office Bite (Serbia) – a corporate meal management and food ordering platform for companies

Each startup pitched in front of a curated audience of investors, partners, and ecosystem leaders, with a clear focus on commercial traction, scalability, and global market potential.

From Pitch to Capital: VC Speed Dating

A defining moment of this Demo Day was the introduction of a structured VC speed-dating format, designed to move beyond inspiration and into action.

In a single room, 17 selected startups met with 17 international VC funds and investment representatives who traveled to Belgrade specifically for this event.

This format enabled founders to engage directly with investors in focused, time-efficient sessions — creating meaningful connections that have the potential to translate into real deals.

Importantly, while the spotlight was on the SEE UP cohort, the format was intentionally expanded to include additional high-potential startups from the broader ecosystem.

Because at SEE UP, ecosystem building is not about exclusivity — it is about raising the entire region and positioning Southeast European innovation on the global stage.

Building the Innovation Bridge

The program also featured a panel discussion titled “Innovation Bridge: Corporations & Startups”, moderated by Siniša Marčić from the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).

The panel brought together leading voices from venture capital, corporates, and innovation platforms to discuss how stronger collaboration can unlock growth across borders and industries.

In addition, Ema Horvat (Clever Clover) delivered a keynote on DACH corporate–startup collaboration, offering valuable insights into how startups can successfully engage with large European corporations.

The event also welcomed Nikola Mehandžić, who introduced the newly established Balkan Fintech Association (BFA) and its vision for strengthening regional fintech collaboration.

A Global Network in One Room

Demo Day gathered an exceptional group of investors and ecosystem partners, including representatives from venture capital funds, corporate innovation arms, and global platforms — all aligned around discovering and supporting high-potential startups.

At the same time, founders from across industries stepped into high-intensity conversations, exchanging ideas, receiving feedback, and exploring new opportunities for growth.

The atmosphere in the room was dynamic, focused, and ambitious — filled with bold questions, strategic thinking, and the energy that defines real innovation.

Powered by Strong Partnerships

This event would not have been possible without the continued support of our partners and ecosystem collaborators.

We extend our gratitude to TS Ventures Fund for supporting our investment activities, as well as to Centar za digitalnu transformaciju, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, AIK Banka, and the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program, for recognizing the value of what we are building and actively engaging with the founders we support.

What Comes Next

SEE UP Demo Day is not an endpoint — it is a starting point.

The connections made, conversations initiated, and opportunities explored during these two intense hours are expected to evolve into long-term partnerships, investments, and success stories.

At SEE UP, our mission remains clear:
to bridge the gap between startups and capital, between Southeast Europe and the world, and between ambition and execution.

And if this Demo Day proved anything, it’s that the region is ready.
