SEE UP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ant International, the operator of Alipay+, formalising cooperation around startup ecosystem development, expert participation and future joint initiatives. The agreement establishes SEE UP as an official Alipay+ marketing partner in Central and Eastern Europe and the only startup accelerator in the region with this type of formal partnership.
The agreement was fully executed on March 27, 2026, between SEE UP d.o.o. and Advanced Plus Technologies Pte. Ltd., an Ant International company. It creates a structured framework through which SEE UP and Ant International can combine their respective networks and expertise, while developing additional areas of cooperation over time.
What this means for SEE UP startups
The initial framework covers structured online mentorship activities within SEE UP for up to two selected startups per cohort, delivered over a six-month period at two hours per month. It also provides for Ant International representatives to participate, where possible, as keynote speakers or panellists at selected SEE UP events.
The partnership deliberately begins with defined, practical formats rather than a broad market-access promise. For SEE UP founders, its immediate value is a formal channel for knowledge exchange with an organisation operating global payment and digital commerce infrastructure, together with the opportunity to develop further cooperation as concrete startup and business cases emerge.
Alipay+ is Ant International’s unified wallet gateway for cross-border mobile payments and digital services. Through participating wallets, financial institutions and merchants, it connects consumers and businesses across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and other international markets.
For SEE UP, the agreement strengthens an international partner network designed to help founders from Central and Eastern Europe build relevant relationships beyond their home markets. It also adds a practical startup and innovation layer to SEE UP’s growing cooperation with organisations across Asia.
SEE UP and Ant International will now work on activating the first agreed formats and identifying additional areas where the partnership can create concrete value for selected startups and the wider regional ecosystem.
